Life really is a journey.
We all know it.
But while we acknowledge this as a true statement, we are all, at the same time, fixated on the point of arrival.
As if everything will then be settled nicely and we can actually start living.
As if.
I have a confession to make. As someone who loves exploration and discovery, I still somehow think that I must have it all together before I let others in on my process. Perhaps this is due to too many years in athletics and performing arts, or perhaps it is simply my own chosen form of armor.
Whatever the reason, I’ve decided it is high time for a mindset shift.
With that said, I’m inviting you to join me on my creative journey in hopes that my process will spark some useful ideas, strategies, or insights for you to take along on your own adventure, whatever that looks like.
Rising Lights Creative is a work in process, just like me. Just like you. It began with an idea for a community that nurtures the creativity we all carry and equips us all to live brilliantly.
I believe that what we have to offer to the world matters, and creativity doesn’t happen in a vacuum.
Rather, it sparks and comes to life in the context of community.
